I have a yoghurt factory in my kitchen sink. This is my 3rd go at yoghurt and I have high hopes for it. I got the milk up to the right temp, cooled to the right temp, mixed with plenty of starter and in a warm environment to incubate.
Fingers crossed!

Let me know if it doesn't work for you - I've only made yogurt once, but I did it in a crock pot and it was super easy! Turned out perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI discovered I just couldn't make yoghurt how I like it without adding milk powder. As I use unpasteurised milk from my goats, I actually go to the trouble of getting hold of dried goats milk, and bingo, it's perfect! I bought a yoghurt maker in the end though - one of those incubation jobs with 7 little jars.
